Driving Instructions Is The Iphone Good Enough For Driving Instructions Across The Country?

Is the iphone good enough for driving instructions across the country? - driving instructions

My friend only wants to use your iPhone App GPS trip from Alaska to Eugene O, because we are moving. Is this a good idea? If a real GPS to the car? Is it reliable?

I have the iPhone and think it is quite difficult to understand the driving instructions through the city with the mapping service.

I do not think that's a good idea. You can really cheap GPS systems today. The problem with the iPhone GPS is that it is the turn by turn voice directions. Do not change the route if you miss once. It is as if you are following directions from mapquest.com. With Real GPS to tell you when to turn if you miss a turn, and now pursue a new path when it is rapidly overloaded. The iPhone only shows the instructions and you're done. You can walk the miles the wrong way before Reliz step in the right direction. If a GPS is not allow.

Good luck!
